Report: Apple to Launch New TV Streaming Service

Apple is gearing up to launch an online TV service in the United States, if a new report is to be believed.

The (via ) reports that the service will be a slimmed down affair, costing around $30-40 USD a month for 25 high-profile channels. According to the publication's sources, Apple is currently in talks with network giants ABC, CBS and Fox, however NBC won't be included due to a prior dispute with NBC's parent company Comcast.

The service will reportedly be announced in June and launch in the American fall, and will allow users to stream channels live to devices running Apple's iOS.

At Apple's event earlier this month, the tech giant announced an Apple TV  and an with HBO Now.
