Today was a sad week for Silent Hill and now there's a petition trying to change that.
After a started making the rounds early in the week, partially due to the from the PlayStation Store, Konami officially came out and confirmed: .
Despite assuring fans that it's "committed to new Silent Hill titles," Konami's mysterious Silent Hills, the collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, is over.
A petition on is now trying to urge the duo to "please continue development on Silent Hills."
The petition states, "If the issue is money related, we would love to see a crowdfunding campaign like Kickstarter to ensure you are getting all the financial help there is!"
As of writing this, the petition has surpassed its original goal of 15,000 signatures and set 25,000 as a new milestone.
