Mortal Kombat X Delayed on PS3 and Xbox 360

Mortal Kombat X has been delayed on PS3 and Xbox 360 and will now be available sometime this summer.

A listing change on  this morning first raised eyebrows, and IGN has now confirmed with Warner Bros. that the title will indeed be delayed on old-gen consoles. The release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC will continue as planned.

"Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer,” the publisher said in a statement. “The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions will be available April 14."

The news comes hot on the heels of a busy day of Mortal Kombat X news, with the first guest character revealed as , while old favourites for the title.

In case you missed it recently, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon revealed  to the series, and though there's been plenty of  who may soon join the roster.
