Well-known YouTube personality "Angry Joe" Vargas is finished creating content around Nintendo games in the wake of a new copyright claim filed over his recent video. Angry Joe is a force in online video, as his channel counts nearly 2 million subscribers and has tallied 300 million+ total views.
His most recent video, "Angry Joe Plays Mario Party 10!," was posted over the weekend, but Vargas removed it after he received the claim you see below from Nintendo.

Vargas that he's spent around $900 on his gaming setup, which includes the system, controllers, games, and more. But he laments that Nintendo, unlike other major gaming companies, "need to monetize when I share my play sessions."
This controversy comes in the wake of Nintendo's introduction of a new YouTube policy called the . Billed as a program that would allow YouTubers such as Angry Joe to share advertising revenue with Nintendo for videos containing Nintendo content, it has from popular streamers, including the biggest YouTube star of all, PewDiePie.
One major restriction of Nintendo's new Creators Program is that YouTubers are only eligible to earn ad dollars for select games. As you might have guessed, Mario Party 10. However, it remains unclear if the copyright claim is the result of the Creators Program or something else.
The Creators Program--which is--remains in beta and is expected to launch in full next month.
