Capcom has confirmed that Dragon's Dogma Online will run at 1080p and in 60 frames-per-second on PlayStation 4.
During a recent meeting in Tokyo (via ), game director Kent Kinoshita also revealed that the PlayStation 3 version will perform slightly below that of its next-gen counterpart, with a resolution of 720p and frame rate of 30. Additionally, Dragon's Dogma Online will support cross-platform play across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Capcom was also careful to point out that while the PlayStation 4 version does run at 60 FPS, it isn't locked to that frame rate. When players enter areas with large crowds, the frame rate will adjust accordingly.
Dragon's Dogma Online was and is currently only confirmed for release in Japan.
