There's a veritable deluge of American Horror Story casting news arriving today, with Jessica Lange confirming her departure after four seasons and two new faces joining in her stead.
reports Emmy winner Lange announced at Paleyfest her time on the show is done, saying "We’ve had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I’ve had the opportunity to play, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan [Murphy, executive producer] and the insanity of shooting it."
Rumours have been circulating about Lange's departure for some time, with many speculating the will see the songstress headlining Season 5: Hotel.
But that's not all the news to come out of Paleyfest; Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson are both joining the ranks of the cast. Though little is known about their roles, Bomer was notably noncommittal when asked if a romantic relationship between his and Gaga's characters was on the cards.
American Horror Story: Hotel begins production later this year with a planned premiere in October.
