An Australian couple recently celebrated their wedding day with an incredibly realistic, life-size NES cake.
The cake came complete with the console, two controllers, and a copy of Tetris.
According to the bride, the cake was so realistic, guests were having a hard time believing it wasn't an actual console.
"Everyone was poking and prodding at it wondering if it was real. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day,” she said.
The newlyweds explained the significance of the cake to , saying Nintendo was one of the first things they bonded over when they first met.
“We spent hours playing Tetris when we first started dating ten years ago," said the bride. However, she added the couple's favorite game is Super Mario Bros.
The cake itself is chocolate-flavored, with a cookies and cream white chocolate ganache filling. It was created by Australian cake shop Cara Mia Cake.
