Tim Schafer is Open to Returning to Psychonauts

After last night's 2015 British Academy Games Awards, storied developer Tim Schafer discussed his career, and the titles he would most like to revisit in the future.

The developer also said Brutal Legend holds promise, because "it's kind of already designed because we had to throw away half that game to get it done two years late," and because Schafer would like another opportunity to work with Jack Black, who played the lead role of Eddie Briggs. "It's a lot easier to imagine going forward with that or Psychonauts."

As for continuing any storylines in the Grim Fandango universe, Schafer said it doesn't look likely. Protagonist Manny Calavera had "such a complete progression," and Shafer said returning to that universe wouldn't seem right without Manny.

Schafer's upcoming game, Broken Age: Act 2, is set to release sometime before the end of this spring –– " and set to finish the tale that garnered a nomination for .
