We all want the best of the best, so let us point out the hottest comics and collectibles released each week. We spotlight our favorite comics that we know are money-well-spent, new books that look cool, and any toys we can't wait to play with.

Check out our picks, then take to the comments to let us know what looks good to you!

Chrononauts #1 - $3.50

Before we even get to the premise, this comic is worth buying just on the talent involved alone. Mark Millar’s name is synonymous with action-packed comic books that have a tendency to become blockbuster movies -- Kick-Ass, Secret Service, Civil War. Sean Murphy is one of the hottest artists working in comics today, delivering jaw-dropping set pieces with an intricate sense of design, as glimpsed in his horror/adventure mini-series with Scott Snyder, The Wake.

Chrononauts is a four-part mini-series described as a bromance between two geniuses who decide to televise their time-travelling adventure. It's got flavors of Bill & Ted and Project Almanac, so we're totally on board.

How long until this one becomes a movie?

Injustice: Gods Among Us - Year Three #12 - $2.99

Year Three of Injustice has been packed with twists, turns, and a heavy dose of magic. This issue contains the conclusion concerning a certain con man named John Constantine. That sentence contained a lot of C’s and that’s because we can’t wait to see what happens.

Green Lantern: New Guardians #40 - $3.99

Warning: Spoilers for Green Lantern: New Guardians and Omega Men #1!

It’s been tough watching Kyle Rayner deal with the fact that being the White Lantern will eventually end his life. We’ve been expecting to see him face his end with dignity and grace as it approaches… but that all changed when the hit.

Seriously, here come the spoilers!

Apparently, the Omega Men will murder Kyle! We don’t know why or how, but suddenly all eyes are on the series finale of New Guardians for any hint of what’s going to happen to everybody’s favorite Torchbearer.

Frankenstein Underground #1 - $3.50

The first in a five-part mini-series, this comic fleshes out Frankenstein’s background in the Hellboy universe.

The character was fascinating under Mignola’s pen in Hellboy: House of the Living Dead, so getting to see his own take on the monster’s origin will be pretty amazing.

Mignola often prefers to write about his own creations rather than bring in classic monsters, so that he’s choosing to utilize Frankenstein must mean he’s got something special in store.

Lazarus, Vol. 3: Conclave - $14.99

The third volume of Lazarus has been collected into graphic novel format, so consider us including it on this list a reminder of how freaking awesome this series is and that you should read it if you haven’t, and if you have then you should read it again.

Greg Rucka and Michael Lark have created a bleak yet fascinating world where ruling families war with each other and they all have cybernetic Lazarus enforcers that act as security guards and use swords and discover secrets and have personal revelations and oh man it’s just the best.

Essential Hawkeye T-Shirt - $18.99

Any fan of Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye series will want to add this to their wardrobe. You’ll no doubt remember the issue where all of Hawkeye’s arrows were cataloged, including the beloved boomerang arrow. Because... boomerangs.
