Candy Crush Publisher King Sees Decline in Shares

The developer of mobile game sensation Candy Crush Saga saw a fall in shares as low as 14 percent following the report of "softer" revenue expectations in the current financial quarter.

Their expectations are for King, with an expected earnings of $490 mil to $520 mil. Despite the drop in earnings, they remain positive and expect to see a surge when Candy Crush Saga releases on Windows 10 and new games launch in the second half of 2015.

Candy Crush first released as a Facebook game in 2012, then later was made available on mobile devices. It has been so successful that the founders were than the creators of Grand Theft Auto.

They've also been a part of some controversy in recent years, especially when King attempted to trademark the words "Candy" and "Saga," even going so far as to with the developers of The Banner Saga.
