The band Maroon 5 debuted a new song this week, "Don't Wanna Know," and have also released a Pokemon Go-themed music video for it.
In the video, we see lead signer Adam Levine living out his life--driving a convertible, drinking booze, etc.--dressed up as a Pokemon. He, along with other celebrities like Sarah Silverman and Ed Helms, are being chased around by smartphone-wielding Pokemon Go players. It's all very strange. Watch it below.
Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin directed this video. One of that movie's stars, Vince Vaughn, shows up in the music video's final scene sitting at a bar with Levine.
Pokemon Go is a worldwide phenomenon, as it's passed 500 million downloads and set a new app store record. Though player figures may be dropping, the game still reportedly brings in $2 million every day.
In other news, a new update for Pokemon Go on iOS and Android this week added a new catch bonus feature and made some tweaks to how Gym training works. You can read more about the changes here.
