[UPDATE] Microsoft reached out to GameSpot for clarification on Dead Rising 4's season pass. It's currently only available to purchase in the Deluxe edition, but you'll be able to purchase it on its own when the game launches in December.
Original story: Microsoft today announced the content coming to Dead Rising 4 through its season pass, including an 18-hole mini golf course.
This is called Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf. It offers up 18 holes of "pure wanton destruction," with online multiplayer support for up to four players. The fairways are spread throughout the game's setting of Willamette, Colorado, including the mall. Instead of a putter, you'll use guns to move the ball.
"Watch your score as you do not want to bogey in this zombie filled eighteen-hole golf course. Mini golf is made crazier with the zombie horde as obstructions and hazards," Microsoft said.
Also included in the Dead Rising 4 season pass is the Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack, which includes holiday-themed weapons, vehicles, zombies, and costumes. Lastly, there is an expansion called Frank Rising that sees the main character get infected and embark on a search for a cure before he becomes a zombie.
The Dead Rising 4 season pass costs $25 and will be available on Xbox One and PC. Microsoft will also offer an $80 Deluxe Edition that comes with the game and the season pass, saving you $5.
Unfortunately, no images or video of Dead Rising 4's DLC has been released. We also don't know if the season pass content will be sold individually and what it might cost in that setup.
Dead Rising 4 launches for Xbox One and PC on December 6.
