New Battlefield 1 Single-Player Video Teases Battle Against Ottoman Empire

Following a 12-minute gameplay video over the weekend, EA has now released even more footage from Battlefield 1's single-player campaign.

Posted on Twitter today, the 30-second teaser shows off footage from Battlefield 1's "The Runner" chapter. As announced previously, you __play as an Aznac runner, charged with making deliveries of "life-or-death messages" to allies on the battlefield. Players are squaring off against the Ottoman Empire at Gallipoli, where forces are invading by boat. Here's the clip:

Unlike past Battlefield games, Battlefield 1's campaign features multiple playable characters, spread across five different "War Stories." EA previously explained why it's going with multiple protagonists, stating that, "We felt that to have one character hopping through those different settings wouldn't be as immersive or totally respectful to the setting."
